Sixteen Oklahomans moved on to the Hollywood rounds of American Idol on Thursday night’s episode. In total, 44 singers received golden tickets from the Oklahoma City auditions.
Three Oklahomans were shown on the television broadcast:
Halie Hilburn (Oklahoma Christian alumna)
Zoanette Johnson (Tulsa)
Kayden Stephenson (Tulsa)

Jacob Abello (Oklahoma City)
Abello’s band Prettyboy released their debut EP, Dejvická, two weeks ago. He’s performed at multiple editions of NMF, SXSW, FreeTulsa and DFest. Abello released his debut album, Nothing But Gold, in 2009.
Scott Fleenor (Edmond)
Fleenor is an alum of ACM@UCO and played Norman Music Festival in 2012.
