“I care deeply about Tulsa’s music scene, and soon after I picked up the camera I realized — this was how I could make a contribution. By continuing the tradition of local music photography legends Basil Childers and Kelly Kerr I could help Oklahoma musicians by giving them a visual identity. Growing up, I realized how important photography is to fans. Band posters were important.” - Jeremy Charles
Tonight’s reception and launch party includes appetizers and a meet-and-greet with the artist and local musicians. You can buy prints off the wall for $15 or a book for $20.
“Photography gives fans something to tie them to a musician — that’s why I’m printing the photographs on poster stock and thumbtacking them to the walls. I put my musical idols up on the walls of my bedroom, we all did, so that’s the kind of feeling I’m going for.” - Jeremy Charles
