Tulsa native Annie Clark, aka St. Vincent, just released a music video for “Birth in Reverse.”
The track is featured on her self-titled album that was released in February.
Last week, JD McPherson premiered a new song, “Bossy,” via The Huffington Post.
The song will be included on his new album, Let The Good Times Roll, out February 10 on Rounder Records.
McPherson says the new album is a “slightly more extreme example of the first record…wanting to take Rhythm & Blues to art school” and that “it’s no Joy Division record, but it was definitely created under a measure of disquiet.”
Grooms released a new song, “Doctor M,” last week via Brooklyn Vegan.
University of Oklahoma alum Travis Johnson remains the only original member of the Brooklyn-based band after fellow OU alum Emily Ambruso took a hiatus from the band.
“Doctor M” will be featured on the band’s upcoming fourth album, Comb the Feelings Through Your Hair, out February 17 via Western Vinyl.

Hinder released a new song “Hit the Ground” on Friday via Billboard.
Hinder, who recently added a new singer in Nolan Neal, plans to release an as-yet-untitled fifth album in 2015, via The End Records.
The album will be their first since 2012’s Welcome to the Freakshow and their first without singer Austin Winkeler, who parted ways with the band in 2012.
David Cook also released a new song, “Wait For Me,” last week.
The former Tulsan tells The Hollywood Reporter that his new music will be released independently, and that he’s close to finding a distributor for his first new album since 2011.
Meanwhile, Cook is still playing charity concerts to raise funds for brain cancer research. Since 2009, the same year his brother Adam passed away from the disease, Cook and his fans have raised $930,000 through various fundraisers. This month, Cook’s Crowdrise campaign aims to raise $70,000 to reach the $1 million mark.
A song from Other Lives, “Great Sky,” was featured on the NBC show “The Blacklist” on Monday, November 10.
