The Norman Convention and Visitors Bureau also estimates the festival generated $1 million worth of new tax dollars for the city.
Submissions for the new festival are now open and will cost $10 to submit. Proceeds from the application fee will be donated to the Tulsa Public Schools Music Program. Those selected can earn up to $100 per band member up to $500 for the gig. Deadline is June 10.

The festival will feature over 70 bands on two outdoor stages and twelve club venues.
Already announced acts include OneRepublic (features Tulsan Ryan Tedder), Neon Trees, Mayer Hawthorne, Churchill, Mutemath, Quiet Company, Bronze Radio Return, Yo Mamma’s Big Fat Booty Band, What Made Milwaukee Famous, and locals Eric Himan Band and Dante and the Hawks.
Admission to the festival will be free.
