Size Records is a series of locally-owned record stores in Oklahoma City and Tulsa. The store specializes in new and used vinyl, but also carries CDs, cassettes, VHS tapes and more.
History
In 2002, Dustin Wallace, a show promoter, and Jim Paddack, who ran the small record store Music Dimensions from the mid-1990s until the early 2000s, started Size Records. Located next to the Green Door, the record store became a popular record shop, especially between band sets at the Green Door.
After the Green Door moved to Bricktown in 2003, Wallace and Little Mafia Records owner Gianni Santillie took over the building and started a new venue, The Conservatory.
After frequenting Tulsa on the weekends with temporary pop-up shops, Size Records opened a permanent pop-up shop inside Bubble Boutique & Gifts on December 15, 2012.
Roughly four months later, on April 12, 2013, Size Records opened their third location, this time inside the Velvet Monkey Salon’s Plaza District location.
