The Erick-native was a singer, songwriter and actor, best known for songs like “King of the Road”, “Dang Me” and “England Swings”. He is also a member of the Country Music Hall of Fame.
Others in this year’s class are: Tommy Franks (Wynnewood), Harold Hamm (Enid), Marques Haynes (Sand Springs), Cathy Keating (Tulsa), Steve Malcolm (Tulsa)and Elizabeth Warren (Oklahoma City).
The induction ceremony will be shown on tape delay on OETA Oklahoma (COX 112 & 713) on Saturday at 8pm CST and Sunday at 5pm CST.

Miller becomes the twenty-second musician to be inducted into the Oklahoma Hall of Fame, joining Everett G. Fry (1938), Louise McMahon (1954), Roy Harris (1957), Madame Ramon Vinay (1964), Anita Bryant (1966), Mildred Andrews Boggess (1971), Merle Montgomery (1976), Roy Clark (1982), Roberta Knie (1982), Patti Page (1983), Vida Chenoweth (1985), Kay Starr (1988), Gene Autry (1991), Vince Gill (1997), Reba McEntire (1998), Jimmy Webb (1999), Leona Mitchell (2004), Woody Guthrie (2006), Toby Keith (2007), Wayman Tisdale (2009) and Kristen Chenoweth (2010).
